I'm Robert Pigott and
I'm ready to help tell stories with you!

A queer, nonbinary graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts based in New York City, I have more than half a decade of professional experience working in the film industry as a screenwriter and assistant film and TV editor.

I've written for story-driven, narrative-focused games and am currently the lead director/writer on a space western visual novel called Bitter Silver. A demo will be released in Fall 2022 by my studio Lookout Drive Games for PC and Mac.

I'm also currently in the process of finishing my first novel, a dark comedy, sci-fi mystery story called A Second Try.

I'm a lover of world history, genre fiction (specifically science fiction, magical realism, and high fantasy), and interactive storytelling.

My favorite games include Planescape Torment, The Last of Us series, the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games, Fallout: New Vegas, Psychonauts, The Witcher 3, Tales from the Borderlands, The Stanley Parable, What Remains of Edith Finch, Papers, Please, The Wolf Among Us, and Half Life 2.

Some of my biggest storytelling influences range from Gabriel García Márquez and N.K. Jemisin to Josh Sawyer and Roberta Williams to Charlie Kaufman and Damon Lindelof.
